Scicli residents fear for their safety after disputes escalate into gunfire

A shooting occurred this evening in the Jungi district of Scicli. According to initial reconstructions by the Carabinieri, it may have been a settling of scores between two groups of young people who arrived at the scene in two different cars after an argument. No injuries have been reported.

The gunshots were fired as a form of intimidation, causing great concern among residents of the area.
