Elderly man dies in hospital after being hit by car in Palermo
Giuseppe Cammilleri, 86, died at Villa Sofia hospital in Palermo, where he was hospitalized. He was hit by a Lancia Y driven by a 36-year-old driver on May 30th, in Piazza San Francesco di Paola. Seriously injured, the elderly man was taken to the Civic Hospital and in the following days, due to worsening clinical conditions, transferred to the Trauma Center of Villa Sofia, where he died. The incident is being investigated by the Accident section of the municipal police.
