A man accused of forcing his landlord in Cogne to become a sex slave has been released from prison, but his sixty-four-year-old wife, who was also arrested for the same incident, recently took her own life while in prison in Turin. The couple’s lawyer is now focusing on the issue of pre-trial detention, as the judge had previously denied the woman’s request to leave her cell.
