31-year-old from Acireale dies in a motorcycle collision with two cars
Blood still stains the streets of Etna. For causes still under investigation regarding the exact dynamics of the incident, late yesterday evening (May 5), around 11:30 pm, a motorcyclist, E.R. born in 1993 in Acireale, lost his life in the Acese fraction of Mangano.
According to what has been learned, the rider on his Honda Cbr 600, on the state road 114, in the Mangano stretch, would have lost control of his motorcycle, crashing violently into a Hyundai car and then rebounding into a Wolkswagen Golf.
The death would have occurred instantly even though the boy was wearing the regulation helmet. The carabinieri of the Radiomobile Unit of Acireale and the health workers of the 118 intervened on the spot, who could only ascertain the death of the 31-year-old.
A file has been opened on the incident by the duty magistrate, while the forensic doctor has carried out a first inspection of the body. The section of the state road was reopened to traffic only around 6 am today.
