25 scholarships established for Biodiversity course at University campus in Trapani

The article announces the creation of 25 scholarships, with a total funding of 40,000 euros, for students enrolling in the three-year degree course in “Biodiversity and Technological Innovation” at the university campus in the province of Trapani. The rector of the University of Palermo, Massimo Midiri, highlighted the focus on environmental protection and biodiversity conservation in the new course, which aims to train professionals in sustainable and innovative practices. The scholarships, funded by the National Biodiversity Future Center, will support students enrolled in the academic year 2024/2025. The curriculum includes courses in artificial intelligence, remote sensing, chemistry, biology, and physics, as well as laboratory work, internships, and international mobility programs. The selection criteria for the scholarships will be based on merit and income level.
