10 arrested in Messina drug bust, with 50 kilos seized

The investigations were initiated following the double homicide of Giovanni Portogallo and Giuseppe Cannavò, which occurred on January 2, 2022, in the Camaro district. This investigation revealed the activities of a criminal group in the Camaro district that was involved in the trafficking of cocaine, marijuana, and crack, leading to the arrest of four people and the seizure of approximately fifty kilograms of drugs, as well as weapons and ammunition.
