Wildfires in Palermo province, orange alert issued

Several fires have broken out today in the province of Palermo, one of which has affected the Mediterranean scrubland and piles of waste in Termini Imerese, in the Danigardi district, where several teams of firefighters are engaged. Fires also in Carini, in via Milazzo, and in Alimena.

The regional Civil Protection has published a warning for tomorrow for the risk of fires and heat waves. In Palermo, a level of alert classified as orange is expected.
