Wife of the driver in the Modica accident also dies – 22 days after the incident

22 days after the accident in which 72-year-old Emanuele Adamo was killed in Modica, his wife has also passed away. The 70-year-old woman had been hospitalized since the day of the tragic collision in the Trebalate district. Two cars were involved in the impact, the one in which the elderly couple was traveling, a Peugeot 106, and a Mercedes Classe C, driven by a man who was also injured but in less serious condition. The seventy-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition at Modica’s Maggiore Hospital due to her severe injuries and required a delicate abdominal surgery. Her condition deteriorated in the last few hours, leading to her death.
