Vittoria tries to rob gas station, gets punched, arrested a month later

The police in Vittoria arrested a 44-year-old man who, at the end of March, had attempted a robbery at a gas station. The man, with his face disguised by a helmet and a scarf, had pointed a knife at the manager, trying to enter the office to steal the money. The manager reacted by punching him.

The unexpected reaction of the victim led to a scuffle and the robber injured the manager’s right hand. Police investigations identified the suspect, who was already responsible for other robberies, and arrested him.
