Ultras from Catania stop bus of Pescara fans with smoke bombs and firecrackers

Yesterday evening, during a Serie C Italian football match between Catania and Pescara, some ultras from Catania attacked the bus carrying Pescara’s supporters with smoke bombs and firecrackers. This incident, reminiscent of past tragic events involving Catania fans, took place outside the stadium after the match had started. The police intervened to prevent a full-scale confrontation between the two groups. The bus sustained damage and some individuals were arrested. Despite the disturbance, Catania won the match 2-0, advancing to the semi-finals of the tournament.
