Two thieves steal two tires and rob a gas station in San Gregorio di Catania, taking the employee’s cash.
The attempted robbery at a gas station in San Gregorio di Catania failed last night, carried out by a group of six individuals. To carry out the robbery undisturbed, the bandits blocked the road with two stolen trucks prior to attempting, unsuccessfully, to break into the gas station’s cash dispenser. After failing to reach their goal, they smashed the glass of the cashier’s booth where an employee was located, stealing around one thousand euros in cash before fleeing in two stolen cars. The incident is currently under investigation by the carabinieri.
