Two thefts in one week at Scinà school in Palermo

Explain in brief the following article:

“In the span of one week, two thefts occurred at the Domenico Scinà school in Palermo, in the building located on via Giuseppe Li Bassi. The school in the Santa Rosalia Village was closed for the Liberation holiday, and someone climbed over the fence and stole some teaching materials.

“They stole eight speakers, a microphone stand, a mixer, and about ten computers,” says school principal Maria Gabriella Martorana. “I have not yet been able to quantify the damages. What makes me most upset is that our community has done so much to improve the school. We put in a lot of effort, and then these people come and destroy months of work.” A report has been made to the authorities. There is a surveillance system in place at the building.”
