Two commercial businesses on via Maqueda in Palermo fined.

The police, together with ASP personnel, were at work to control Via Maqueda in Palermo during the nightlife hours. The street has recently been the scene of clashes between rival groups and nocturnal thefts. The activity, part of the security protocol called “High Impact,” took place from Via Torino to Piazza Verdi.
About a hundred people were identified, numerous vehicles were checked, and 4 violations of the road code were found, resulting in fines totaling 7,200 euros. Additionally, an administrative seizure and an administrative detention were carried out.
Investigative activities were then carried out in 2 commercial establishments where administrative irregularities were found. The inspection results revealed structural deficiencies in both establishments, and administrative fines of 2,000 euros were imposed on each.
