Two arrests in Palermo as crack dealing increases in Ballarò neighborhood

The State Police arrested two drug dealers in the Ballarò neighborhood in Palermo. Undercover officers from the “Hawks – Combating Organized Crime” section of the mobile squad managed to infiltrate the busy neighborhood and gather evidence of two individuals hiding a large package in a hidden spot in a building on Via Ballarò. They observed the suspects conducting multiple exchanges with numerous customers, who were later found to possess drugs purchased from the suspects. The police then carried out a successful raid and apprehended the two dealers, seizing 25 doses of crack cocaine, with 12 found on their person and 14 hidden in their stash. Money was also confiscated. The arrests have been validated.
