A tragedy occurred in the historic center of Noto. A 59-year-old tourist suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness while walking through the streets of the baroque city. She was on vacation in Sicily with a group of friends who tried to help her immediately. Passersby raised the alarm and emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and attempted resuscitation, but unfortunately, there was nothing they could do for the woman. Another tourist, a 61-year-old German, also had a tragic end to his vacation. He died while swimming on the island of Vulcano. The man felt unwell shortly after diving into the water. Bystanders noticed his distress and alerted the Coast Guard, who promptly sent a boat and emergency personnel. Unfortunately, all attempts to resuscitate him were futile as he had already passed away due to a heart attack.
