Theft at Forum Palermo, Rossopomodoro safe broken into: 70k euro stolen

A burglary occurred during the night (between the 23rd and 24th of April) at the Forum Palermo shopping center in Brancaccio. Three thieves targeted the Rossopomodoro restaurant located inside the food area. The gang, as seen in surveillance camera footage, used a flex to force open a metal safe in the changing room and stole the 70,000 euros it contained. The alarm was raised by employees who opened the restaurant this morning. Brancaccio police officers arrived at the scene and conducted initial investigations with the help of the Scientific Police. CCTV footage was obtained showing the thieves’ entry and them fleeing in a stolen car later abandoned nearby.
