The vote in the province of Enna: runoff in Piazza Armerina, eight mayors elected

In the province of Enna, Italy, eight mayors have been elected, while the ninth mayoral position in Piazza Armerina will be decided in a runoff election. The two candidates competing in the runoff are Nino Cammarata and Massimo Di Seri, both from the center-right political spectrum. Di Seri is supported by Forza Italia, Dc, and Sud chiama nord, while Cammarata has the backing of Udc and Fratelli d’Italia. The candidate from the Democratic Party, Mauro Di Carlo, was defeated.
