The Favorite Equestrian Center Reopens: Three Days of Competition

Today in Palermo, the International Sicily Show Jumping Competition will begin with seven events starting at 8:30am. This will precede the prestigious Assi Cup (3-5 December) and bring top-level equestrian competition back to the newly renovated Favorita field after a 10-year hiatus. The competition includes a special event, the “Master Italian Champions Tour,” with a final individual level after the team event in Verona. The competition has a total prize money of 50,000 euros, with today’s category offering 20,000 euros in prizes. Both riders and Amazons who have participated in at least two of the five circuit races are eligible to participate. Among the many participants, several prestigious Sicilian riders, including Matteo Allò and Rubens Cannella from Palermo, are ready to inaugurate the renovated Favorita facility in various events.
