The court unlocks the transfer of a police officer from Agrigento, denied by the police chief.

#Agrigento
A police officer from Agrigento had to appeal to the Tar Sicilia to be transferred back to their hometown. The initial request was approved by the ministry, but was later blocked due to a negative opinion from the police chief in Agrigento. The officer’s relatives had criminal records, which could have harmed the image of the police force. The officer believed the opinion was too generic and didn’t reflect the reality. With the help of lawyers, they requested the suspension and annulment of the decision. The lawyers proved that some relatives had passed away and others lived outside the province. The Tar Palermo accepted their arguments and annulled the decision. As a result, the ministry ordered the officer’s transfer to Agrigento.
