Terra: Contemporary Art Exhibition at Albergo delle Povere in Palermo

From today, May 18, until June 9, the Albergo delle Povere in Palermo will host the collective exhibition “Land: paths of contemporary art” as part of the initiative “Le 5 Generazioni presents Il Labirinto”. An exciting, immersive, and innovative journey into Sicilian contemporary art of the last 70 years, through the works of almost 70 artists. The exhibition rooms will showcase paintings, installations, photographs, videos, and sculptures by various artists. The event is endorsed by Journalists and Associates Stp and by Iiss Don Calogero Di Vincenti. The exhibition is supported and promoted by the regional department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity. The organization is by the association Acsb. Admission is free.
Today, May 18, the opening will start at 6.30 pm, followed by an aperitif with Principe di Corleone wines. There will be a performance by Veronica Pecoraino, a theatrical performance by Paola Pace, and a concert by Dario Sulis and his band at 8.30 pm. Also, in the streets of Cassaro, from 5 pm, the Seui Street Band will perform until they reach the Albergo delle Povere to accompany Dario Sulis with their music, starting from Piazza Pretoria and crossing Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
