Summer hours in effect for Ztl in Palermo: risk of fines on weekends

The municipal police of Palermo reminds citizens that starting from tomorrow, Friday 3 May, until 31 October, the summer ZTL hours will be back in force: from Monday to Thursday in the time slot 8.00-20.00; on Fridays in the time slots 08.00-24.00; on Saturdays in the time slots 0.00-06.00 and 20.00-24.00; on Sundays in the time slot 0.00-06.00. This is what can be read in a statement from the Municipality of Palermo. In practice, instead of starting at 11.00 pm, the nightly ZTL will start at 8.00 pm. Therefore, on Fridays, the ZTL will start at 08.00 and end at 06.00 on Saturdays. The Saturday night ZTL, on the other hand, will start at 8.00 pm and end at 6.00 am on Sundays. The ZTL hours from Monday to Thursday, from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, are confirmed, concludes the statement from the Municipality of Palermo.
