Stromboli’s tsunami detection system out of order
The Civil Protection Department of the University of Florence (UniFI) has announced that the tsunami detection system off the coast of Stromboli, developed and managed by UniFI, is currently on hold due to a technical issue. An emergency intervention is expected in the coming days to assess the possibility of restoration.
