Starbucks CEO attends Valle Belìce Farmers Club event

Howard Schultz, the founder of Starbucks, will be present at the opening ceremony of the “Valley of Belice Farmers Club” at Asaro farms in Marinella di Selinunte. Asaro supplies Starbucks with extra virgin olive oil for the production of their new beverage “Oleato,” a unique blend of Arabica coffee and Partanna olive oil. This event aims to promote the cultivation and manual harvesting of the Nocellara del Belìce cultivar and support the local farmers’ development and sustainability. The event will be attended by industry professionals, regional officials, and mayors from the six municipalities where Nocellara is grown. Additionally, a Farmer’s Festival will be held the following day in Partanna, featuring an open-air happy hour and a concert by Boomdabash.
