A 6-year-old boy from Catania is fighting for his life after falling into a private pool in Malta while on vacation. According to the Maltese police, the child has been hospitalized in critical condition for 4 days. The incident occurred at a residence on Sant’ Andrea street in Swieqi, in the northern region of the island. It seems to have been an accident, and unfortunately not the first of its kind. Medical personnel provided initial assistance on the scene before transferring him to Mater Dei Hospital in Gozo, where he is in the intensive care unit in critical condition.
