There have been two recent thefts in Ortigia, Sicily. The first occurred at the La Tavernetta restaurant where unknown individuals broke in and ransacked the establishment. They stole a few euros from the cash register and destroyed approximately 30 bottles of oil, as well as taking several bottles of wine and spirits. The second theft targeted the Borderi cheese factory, where an estimated 20,000 euros were stolen. It is believed that a man and a woman were responsible for this crime. Both incidents are under investigation, with police examining surveillance footage for additional information.
