Siracusa man fires blank shots in highway tunnel: reported

Some motorists reported yesterday (May 2) to the police that a person was firing shots from a high-displacement car in the San Demetrio tunnel on the Catania – Siracusa highway. The officers of the Lentini traffic police station intervened and, through the license plate number of the suspicious vehicle, identified a 22-year-old boy who had recently purchased a starter pistol. The young man, while in the car with a friend, not considering the seriousness and danger of his actions, had fired for fun. The protagonist of the story has been reported to the authorities.
