Sexual violence on three patients, 13 years requested for a psychiatrist in Palermo

The prosecutor of Palermo, Giorgia Righi, has requested a 12 year and 6 month sentence for neurologist Marcello Grasso, accused of sexual assault against three of his patients. Grasso, brother of the former Senate President, allegedly abused the women during therapy sessions, using dance and burlesque themes as well as asking them to undress and taking photographs. The defendant has claimed that these were therapeutic treatments agreed upon with the patients.
