Serial gutter thief in Palermo caught on surveillance camera.
He wanders undisturbed among the houses, jumping from one roof to another; from one gutter to another. However, after his passage, there are no gutters left. A serial copper gutter thief, captured yesterday evening by the cameras of a house in Via del Bastione in Albergheria, Palermo: with extreme naturalness, as can be seen from the video extracted from a surveillance camera, he wanders through the internal courtyards of the building, carrying a bag and wearing “work” clothing that allows him freedom of movement and to carry the tools of the trade with him.
Another gutter torn down and stolen, but this extreme freedom and impunity scares the residents, who have promptly filed a complaint with the police. In the area, however, there is turmoil: this is just the latest of the new arrivals in the long list of problems and worries that plague the residents, forced to fight with cars damaged by drug addicts looking for a few coins to buy one crack dose after another in the nearby Ballaró, the headquarters of drug dealing. The fear among residents rises every day, as does the number of thefts, more or less important, often accompanied by physical as well as psychological violence.
