Selinunte, collision between two motorcycles on state road 115: Marsalese participant of a rally dies

Another fatal accident occurred this morning in Sicily. Luciano Montalto, a 61-year-old motorcyclist, was participating in a motorcycle rally organized by a group of bikers from Marsala when the accident happened on the Statale 115 road towards Marinella di Selinunte. He sustained severe injuries and was transported to a hospital in Castelvetrano by an ambulance, but sadly died shortly after arrival. The victim’s Triumph motorcycle collided with another two-wheeled vehicle. A 23-year-old girl was also injured in the crash. This is another tragic incident adding to the already high number of road accidents in Sicily.
