Searches underway for missing person in Catania

The diving team, the naval section, and a Fire Brigade squad from the provincial command of Catania are involved in the search for a diver off the Ognina waterfront. The distress call was forwarded to the operations room shortly before 7:30 pm. A buoy has been found in the water near Artale Alagona Avenue, and a backpack on the rocks in front of the Nautical Institute. The search operation is ongoing.
