Santi Rando: From Policeman to Mayor of Tremestieri Etneo

Forty-nine years old, graduated, the State Police uniform closed in the closet to satisfy his great passion for politics. Santi Rando was elected mayor of Tremestieri Etneo for the first time in June 2015, reconfirmed in March 2021, after the first term extended by the Covid emergency.

An electoral success sealed by 75% of preferences, supported by civic lists, but with a clear political reference point: Luca Sammartino. 14 majority councilors, just 2 in opposition. The Pandora operation seems to explain why such an easy victory.
