Sailboat in distress off Trapani crashes on rocks, sinks rescuing two Spanish women, 50.

Tragedy averted near the port of Trapani. In the early afternoon, a 20-meter sailboat, flying the Tunisian flag, with engine trouble, also due to strong winds, crashed into the rocks of Colombaia and sank. On board were two Spanish women, both in their 50s, saved thanks to the timely intervention of the firefighters and the Coast Guard. The two sailors did not suffer serious injuries.
