Riposto Mayor: “Injured worker is doing better”

The mayor of Riposto, Davide Vasta, visited a 56-year-old worker who was injured while working at the municipal waste collection center. The worker was lucky to survive after being crushed between a garbage truck and a wall. He is currently recovering in the thoracic surgery department at the Cannizzaro hospital with chest injuries. The mayor thanked the man for his courage and praised the hospital staff for their professionalism and care. The worker is expected to return to work after a period of rest and recovery. The mayor expressed relief that the incident had a happy ending.
