Return of the nautical exhibition in Balestrate, showcasing dozens of boats and inflatables

The Seaicily2024, the Nautical Exhibition, now in its seventh edition, arrives in Balestrate, in the province of Palermo. From Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th October, from 10 am to 6.30 pm, the event will take place at the Marina di Balestrate, where, in addition to the presence of hundreds of represented brands and the exhibition of dozens of boats and inflatable boats at sea and on land, there will be moments of debate, insights, tourism, demonstrative activities in collaboration with some national and local associations consisting of sail tests and simulations, as well as excursions and exercises.
The event, which represents a well-established format, was conceived in 2013 by Assonautica Palermo, the provincial section of Assonautica Italiana, the national association for the Economy of the Sea and Recreational Boating, confirms its collaboration with the Nautical Network of the Mediterranean.
Next Thursday, at 10am, the opening to the public will take place with a meeting on the theme “The numbers of the maritime economy in Sicily,” which will see the participation of: Edy Tamajo, regional councillor for productive activities; Giovanni Acampora, national president of Assonautica italiana; Raffaele Macauda, commander of the maritime direction of Palermo – Coast Guard; Alessandro Albanese, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo Enna; Vito Rizzo, mayor of Balestrate; Piero Formenti, national vice president of Nautical Confindustria; Ivo Blandina, Assomarinas; Andrea Ciulla, president of Assonautica Palermo; Renato Marconi, president of Marine di Group; Cristiano Lombardo, president of the Nautical Network of the Mediterranean. During the conference, the “National Report on the Economy of the Sea – Focus on Sicily” will be presented by Gaetano Fausto Esposito, general director of the Tagliacarne Institute. The media partner of the event is the Giornale di Sicilia.
