“Respirare”: new single from young Palermo hitmaker Kid Gamma

The young singer-songwriter from Palermo, Kid Gamma, has released his new single titled Respirare. A very special song that deals with a very current theme: anxiety. The protagonist of the song by the Sicilian artist is a girl pressured by her insecurities, who grapples with the darkness of loneliness until it gives her a sense of true suffocation.

As can be heard from the single, officially released on all major music streaming platforms on March 21, 2024, one can notice the message that Kid Gamma sends, which is to help in moments of difficulty that arise in life, especially among young people who may appear to be the strongest.

Respirare is one of the new singles of 2024 from Pulp Records, a record label based in Catania, of which the young singer-songwriter from Palermo is a part. It should be noted that Kid Gamma’s new song was composed together with musician Carmelo Drago, who among his works boasts collaboration with La Rappresentante di Lista.

Kid Gamma is a singer and beatmaker born in Palermo in 2002. From the age of four, he dedicated himself to studying the piano, and later attended the Bellini Conservatory. In July 2012, he won the Young Talent Special Mention at the International Ibla Competition and in May 2013, he debuted at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York and at New York University, receiving unanimous acclaim and the Audience Award. Furthermore, at the age of eleven, he debuted at the Teatro Politeama in Palermo as a soloist accompanied by the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra. From the end of September 2020, he became part of the roster of GoMad Concerts and on October 30 of the same year, his first single, Iphone, was released; which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the media and the public. In 2023, he officially began collaborating with Pulp Records, giving a new musical and visual aesthetic to the project.
