Psi lawyer Galluffo elected provincial secretary of Trapani

Salvatore Galluffo, from Trapani, a lawyer belonging to a family with socialist traditions, has been elected as the provincial secretary of the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) at the end of a unitary Congress held in Pizzolungo. An only motion was presented: “Desire for Freedom, Democracy, Justice… Socialism” in an assembly that confirmed the local leadership of former regional deputy Nino Oddo, current national deputy secretary, who participated in the Congress alongside Bobo Craxi, representing the national secretary of the party. Lucia Cerniglia and Maria Pia Zichichi will be the provincial deputy secretaries; Gino Paglino is the president.
