Pozzallo honors Daphne Caruana Galizia with plaque and tree

In occasion of the “Righteous Among the Nations Day”, the Rogasi Institute of Pozzallo wanted to dedicate a commemorative plaque with the planting of a tree, at the Garden of the Righteous, in the communal Villa, to Daphne Caruana Galizia, the journalist who was killed by a car bomb in Malta on October 16, 2017 for her reports against corrupt and criminal individuals in her country.
European parliamentarian Pietro Bartolo also attended the ceremony. Mayor Roberto Ammatuna thanked the school principal Maurizio Franzò, the teaching staff, the students of the institute, and the maintenance workers.
