Police car crashes into wall during film chase in Messina

Two individuals were about to steal a scooter, but police officers in a patrol car noticed their movements. This led to a movie-like chase along the Panoramica road in Messina, which ended with the police car crashing into a fence wall, but also with the arrest of one of the young men. Tense moments ensued as the two young men on a motorcycle tried to evade the pursuit at all costs. They maneuvered through traffic and attempted to outwit the officers, who veered off the road during the lengthy chase. One of the young men lost control of the vehicle and was apprehended and taken to the police station, while his accomplice managed to escape, and the search for him is still ongoing. There were no reported injuries. Traffic police officers responded to the scene, and investigations are underway regarding the vehicle used by the two individuals, which was abandoned at the site of the crash.
