Paternò incident: 17-year-old injured in car-scooter collision, search for reckless driver

In Paternò, a car accident occurred where a car allegedly hit a scooter in front of the Redi agricultural institute around 10:30 PM yesterday. The 17-year-old boy riding the scooter fell onto the road, injured and bleeding, while the driver of the car fled the scene. Despite his leg injury, the young boy managed to get up and return home. His parents immediately took him to the emergency room at the hospital in Paternò, where he was admitted and received 100 stitches on his leg. The incident has been reported to the police, and the Paternò Carabinieri have initiated an investigation to identify the responsible party. They have visited the accident site and discovered the presence of surveillance cameras near a school and some private buildings.
