Palermo merchant wounds intruder with scissors: suspect reported
The police arrested a thief who was attempting a robbery and reported the store owner who caught the man, trying to stop him by wielding a pair of scissors, with an accomplice in the store. The officers found the two men in the midst of a scuffle. In reconstructing what happened, it emerged that the merchant caught two thieves inside the shop. One of them managed to escape, while the other, during the struggle with the store owner, was injured. The arrested thief was assisted by 118 medical personnel and taken to Villa Sofia hospital, where he was discharged with a prognosis of 8 days. Investigations are underway to identify the accomplice.
