Palermo couple found dead at home, possible murder-suicide

A husband and wife were found dead in their apartment on Notarbartolo Street, in Palermo. The couple’s daughter called the fire brigade because no one was answering the door and she couldn’t enter the home, at number 49 on Notarbartolo Street. Firefighters opened the door and found the bodies of the two spouses, he was a 58-year-old accountant and she was a 62-year-old municipal police officer.

Paramedics confirmed the deaths of the two. The investigation is being carried out by the carabinieri. At the moment, it is not excluded that it may be a case of murder-suicide.
