Palermo: Ceccaroni terminates contract with Venezia, expected to soon sign with the Rosanero club.

Pietro Ceccaroni, formerly of Venezia, will join Palermo as a new football player. He left Venezia as a free agent, saving the club around €950,000 in salary over four years. Ceccaroni’s contract would have expired in 2027, but he was no longer part of the club’s plans. He will bolster Palermo’s defense, which has already welcomed Fabio Lucioni from Frosinone. The signing should be completed after the medical examinations and contract signing. Palermo is also expected to make more signings, including Alojsa Vasic from Padova, Roberto Insigne from Frosinone, and Leonardo Mancuso from Monza. The good relationship between the two clubs has been crucial for successful negotiations. The roles of Insigne and Mancuso, as well as their formation, are still uncertain.
