Nightmare in Comiso: Fire endangers family, two children saved

Four people were involved in a fire that broke out on Garcia Lorca Street in Comiso, causing fear in the neighborhood. The fire alarm went off around 3:30 am, prompting firefighters and police officers to respond to the scene. The father of the household, who tried to save his family, suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital for examination. Fortunately, the other three occupants were unharmed. The fire was believed to have started accidentally in the attic. Neighbors also tried to assist the family in distress. Firefighters are currently conducting investigations.
