Mystery surrounds death of Raffadali man in Belgium, including homicide.
A 45-year-old man, Salvatore Russo, from Raffadali, was killed after being hit by a car in the parking lot of Cora La Louviere in Belgium. According to local media, the incident occurred yesterday evening. The driver, reportedly, fled the scene but was later apprehended and questioned. Russo had a criminal record for drug offenses, assault, and other crimes and had been living abroad for some time. The Flemish police are investigating the incident, and one of the possibilities being considered is that it may have been a settling of scores.
