Murder dispute in Pachino: 19-year-old Tunisian arrested, a wall of silence surrounds the crime

A 19-year-old Tunisian man has been arrested by the Carabinieri on suspicion of murdering a compatriot, 30-year-old Aithem Mansour, after a violent brawl in Pachino. Investigations have allowed the crime scene to be reconstructed, with specialized Carabinieri officers combing the area for evidence. Using footage from surveillance cameras, the investigators identified several Tunisian men suspected of participating in the fight, which involved glass bottles, sticks, chairs, and recycling bins. Despite attempts to hide, the alleged perpetrator was apprehended in Ispica and found in possession of hashish. He has been charged with aggravated murder and is being held in Siracusa prison. Investigations are ongoing to identify other participants and witnesses.
