Mother reports man for stalking 16-year-old girlfriend in Marsala

A 22-year-old man from Marsala has been issued with a restraining order after months of daily stalking of his 16-year-old girlfriend. He controlled her every move with constant video calls, questioned her about past relationships, insulted her, encouraged her to commit suicide, and threatened her family. The girl was experiencing severe anxiety and had to be hospitalized due to a crisis caused by agitation. The man also attempted to blackmail the girl’s mother. The girl’s mother filed a complaint, and an investigation led by the police commissioner of the city confirmed the allegations. The victim minimized the incidents when questioned by investigators. The man’s behavior led the girl to isolate herself from the world, resulting in poor academic performance. The school principal and text messages obtained by the mother supported her claims.
