Ministry of Infrastructure, competition for mooring operator at the port of Messina: the call for applications

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has published a competition for two mooring masters and boatmen in the Mooring Masters and Boatmen Group of the Port of Messina. The winners will sign an indefinite contract. The application must be submitted by April 14th. Candidates must meet specific requirements, including: being between 18 and 45 years old, Italian citizenship or citizenship of another EU country with adequate knowledge of the Italian language, physical fitness, no previous convictions for certain crimes, at least 2 years of navigation experience, a maritime professional title, and a valid driver’s license. The selection process includes a practical test and a theoretical test. The application must be submitted to the Port Captain’s office in Messina by mail, in person, or through email by the deadline.
