A fire broke out in a residential building on the third floor in Via Fata Morgana, Messina. An elderly woman was slightly intoxicated. Firefighters, with the support of an aerial ladder and fire truck, as well as personnel from emergency services and the police, responded to the scene. The firefighters were able to limit the damage and safely rescue the woman from her apartment. Investigations are underway.
