Messina Council Commission to hear Pietro Ciucci, CEO, on Strait Bridge

The Ponte dello Stretto Council Commission of the Municipality of Messina will hear from the administrator of the Stretto di Messina company, Pietro Ciucci, on Monday, March 18. At 11:30, the commission president, Giuseppe Trischitta, will welcome the mayors of the Metropolitan City of Messina (Federico Basile), Catania (Enrico Trantino), and Palermo (Roberto Lagalla). Ciucci will then speak about the project’s progress and future steps. Following this, technical director Valerio Mele will discuss the bridge project and connections, including updates for 2024 and overall performance. Engineer Achille Devito Franceschi will talk about the bridge, Gioacchino Lucangeli will cover highway connections, Giorgio Micolitti will address railway connections, and engineer Ilaria Coppa will discuss environmental responsibility.
