Mayor Vasta: “First inspections in schools after strong wind gusts”

In Riposto, inspections are underway to assess the state of buildings, especially schools and municipal offices, after strong winds hit the coastal city yesterday evening, causing disruptions. Firefighters, police, Enel and Circumetnea technicians worked overnight to restore the damage caused by the wind. Several trees and branches fell on the roads, obstructing traffic, and some even blocked the transit on street 4. The mayor expressed gratitude for the efforts of the emergency teams and emphasized the importance of monitoring the territory for any dangerous situations. He also thanked the vice mayor, councilors, and emergency personnel for their prompt response. No serious injuries or damages were reported.
